Air pollution is an increasingly serious problem for our planet. Some cities have become truly unlivable and overpopulated, resulting in an impact on the air we breathe.
Using public transport, rather than your own car, could help drastically reduce pollution, especially if buses and trains run with zero impact! But how is this possible? Some British researchers have found a solution that could revolutionize everything. In fact, human feces could be the new fuel frontier!
The Bio-Bus is the first bus in history to be fed with human feces: this vehicle covers the Bath-Bristol route and it only needs 5 people to have the organic waste to be full for a year! This special fuel is created near Bristol, thanks to an anaerobic digestion process.
The purpose of this special bus is also to advertise this particular and underrated energy source. The cost of this fuel is still high (about the same as gasoline), but it has the great advantage of being infinitely renewable!
