A Chinese artist created a brick with the powders of the Beijing atmosphere.
This Chinese artist goes by the name of Brother Nut and has tried to raise awareness of the nation's air pollution problem with him with a truly incredible work.
In fact, he managed to create a brick by filtering the dirty air of Beijing, without using particularly technological means. A simple vacuum cleaner was enough to collect 100 grams of dust from the air.
This amount of dust is present in the air people breathe in about 8 months. The artist then took everything to an artisan workshop, where the powder was mixed with clay to make the brick.
In this way, a concrete and tangible object was created to finally see with one's own eyes the real problem that causes pollution in cities. "The more we exploit nature, the more dust we produce. When the planet's resources run out, we too will become dust," he wrote.
