How many times have you dreamed of drinking from a fountain from which fresh and good beer flows directly? It seems that this dream is shared by many other people, to the point that it is about to come true in Slovenia.
The city of Zalec is in fact about to equip itself with a very unique monument, a fountain that dispenses beer instead of the usual water.
The place has long been famous for the beer produced, and it is no coincidence that it is nicknamed the "valley of green gold". It is believed that the fountain will bring great gains to the city as it could become a famous tourist attraction.
Despite the great cost of the whole operation (we are talking about 170 thousand euros), it will be mainly private to finance the monument. Everything will be recovered by offering an entrance fee of € 6, which will however include three glasses of beer and a glass as a gift as a souvenir.
