Rakesh Shukla is a successful man, he has indeed managed to create a successful IT company. However, he is known and appreciated by all for a different reason. In fact, he takes care of as many as 735 abandoned dogs who cannot find a master.
His company was born ten years ago, but he soon realized that money didn't make him happy. Shukla only felt fulfilled when, in 2009, Kavya, a beautiful golden retriever, arrived at his home.
Three months later, Shukla adopted another dog. Soon, whenever he saw an abandoned dog he would pick it up and take it home. Soon the dogs became too many to keep in the house, so the man decided to convert the top floor of his huge farm into a kennel.
Five years ago Shukla bought some land to build a more suitable shelter for animals. Thus, over the years, the creatures he helped have increased more and more. The last time he counted them, there were 735 dogs: many of them old or sick.
"We are the last stop for these dogs. They are no longer cute and cuddly. Many are sick and nobody wants them anymore", explains Shakula who adds, however, that this is not a good reason why the rest of their life is not. as happy as possible.
