That Tom Cruise is the king of the Mission (Im) possible is now well known. Who, if not him, could make a film in orbit? It seems pure utopia but it is certain. Tom Cruise will star in the world's first cinematic work entirely made in space.
After the stunts that have made him famous all over the world, the actor will attempt this new incredible feat. All this is possible thanks to the genius of Elon Musk who will make the making of the film possible by providing the latest generation tools of SpaceX, his aerospace agency founded in 2002.
The future of cinema is in space
Next October Cruise will spend in orbit, thanks to the Crew Dragon capsule, 10 days to "study" carefully the context in which he will be committed to work in the future. Alongside the actor there will be three other people who will join him on the "reconnaissance tour", namely the film's producer Doug Liman, fighter pilot Eytan Stibbe and NASA astronaut Michael Lopez-Alegria. Over these days, extra shots will also be made to be included in the editing phase.
