This car recharges in the sun: it can travel up to 1600 km on a "full tank" and has supercar performance
In recent years, there have been many innovations in the automotive field and in large part marked by the increasing need to combine daily mobility with respect for the environment . It is no coincidence that electric cars are becoming more and more common today, and no longer a kind of "technological mirage" as until recently.
What we are about to tell you about is a very special vehicle, not only for its aesthetic aspect , but also and above all for the technological innovations it contains. The reason is obvious: it does not require frequent recharging, it guarantees record autonomy and true sports performance. All under a "dress" that defining futuristic would be an understatement.
Producing it is Aptera , a Californian startup specializing in high efficiency vehicles.
Looking at it, this car looks like it has just come out of a science fiction movie, with its almost "floating" appearance. Let's start by saying, in fact, that it has 3 wheels and that it is equipped with a technology called " Never Charge ", whose name is already a whole program.
Indeed, this is certainly the characteristic that makes this electric car interesting and "different". On its roof, in fact, there are about 3 square meters of solar panels , which have the task of recharging the battery with the energy deriving from what nature itself makes available to us. With solar modules alone, you can reach 72 km of autonomy per day , and recharging takes place in parking mode.
In all-wheel drive mode, in fact, the Aptera can go from 0 to 100 km / h in just over 3.5 seconds : supercar numbers for a vehicle that certainly does not go unnoticed. Up-to-date entertainment systems, semi-autonomous driving and a myriad of technological devices complete the picture.
According to what the manufacturer has declared, to bring home this particular car, it will take figures ranging from about 22,000 to almost 40,000 euros , depending on the version and the options you choose. It is true: it may not be the best for transporting many people or luggage, but for two occupants (and something more) it is just fine, and will make those who drive it feel at the wheel of a vehicle as futuristic as it is environmentally friendly .
