The mysterious taste of the crocodile and the kangaroo
The crocodile and the kangaroo are certainly not part of the European gastronomic tradition, but in Australia they are doing great
These are in fact the main ingredients of the pizzas served by a restaurant located in Sydney
The taste has been judged very positively by many customers, therefore curiosity is growing
We are what we eat and evidently the Australian people cannot do without certain types of meat that in our part would not even be proposed by mistake. In the gigantic oceanian nation there is a structure that allows you to taste pizzas to say the least curious, specifically the one with the crocodile and the one with the kangaroo.
The two animals abound in those parts and therefore their meat is used for a singular recipe and which is defined as "very tasty". The idea came to mind at the Heritage Hotel in Sydney, always very imaginative with its menu. The coat of arms pizza is nothing more than a product of kangaroo and emu, all garnished with tomato, chilli peppers and lemon mayonnaise.
Other ingredients
In order not to make one taste prevail over the other, it was decided to divide the pizza in half with the two meats well present in equal measure. Then there is the "Pepper Kangaroo" pizza. As the name suggests, the main ingredient is kangaroo meat that is marinated with lots of pepper, in addition to caramelized onion, roasted pepper and salt. The "Saltwater Crocodile" is no less so, in which the crocodile is more dominant than ever
Mushrooms, buffalo mozzarella and olives complete the list of ingredients. There are those who have tried these pizzas and issued statements on the matter. The one with kangaroo and emu was judged very well, perhaps the best ever of the place. The taste would be sensational, but European and North American palates are not necessarily able to appreciate the same. Even the version with the crocodile has received more than positive criticisms, if nothing else it can be said that it is not the classic restaurant menu.
