In the US, almost a third of knights cannot resist the temptation to taste the food they bring. This was stated by a search by the US Foods distributor, according to which the most frequent complaint concerns food that arrives cold.
More than 1500 riders and customers were surveyed in the survey. 28% of those who deliver food have an average of at least once a taste, while the main complaint, for 60% of the sample, is the tip too low or non-existent.
On the client's side, 17% complained at least once because the food was cold, 16% because they arrived late (with 40 minutes considered as the maximum time allowed). About a third of the respondents would not tip more than $ 5 while 28% would pay up to $ 15. More than four out of five, then he would like restaurants to use tamper-proof packaging.
"95% said they dared tip the pilot - the authors write - with 63% doing so directly through the app. 53% of the sample admits that the responsibility of the tip is influenced by the meteorological conditions their sacred duty while they are engaged in deliveries ".
